about

Be A BOLD Girl! began with a book for girls ages 12 and up that inspires through stories of 100 BOLD American women who changed the world in ways big and small.  The book is scheduled for publication in 2018 by She Writes Press.  Some of the unique, original photos from the book, alongside quotes from amazing women, became a calendar with powerful messages to inspire throughout the year. The empowering posters and t-shirts allow teachers, girls, and women to display a single message that feels particularly important or relevant.  The calendar, posters and t-shirts are available now!

The Be A BOLD Girl! BLOG includes conversations to nurture young women, as well as opportunities to guest BLOG, and to nominate a friend who has been Caught Being BOLD!

Be A BOLD Girl! continues to grow and will always inspire, inform, and empower girls to find their own, unique ways to be BOLD!

Kim Collins, Author of Be A BOLD Girl!

Mom of two busy teenagers and two adorable kitties, wife, daughter, author, feminist, environmentalist, and idea gal.  The seed was planted for Be A BOLD Girl! when my now 15 year-old daughter was learning to read and I realized there was a lack of stories about women.  Be A BOLD Girl! continues to evolve and I’m excited to see where it goes!
